The P2Network was founded in 2014, after a group of 46 Pediatric Emergency Medicine Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) leaders gathered in Toronto, Canada, to discuss how to expand the use of POCUS in a clinical setting. Topics included quality assurance, clinical workflow, intra-hospital collaboration, faculty engagement, competency in training, collaborative research logistics and group communication.

The P2Network has since evolved to serve as a platform for sharing expertise, building research collaborations and offering mentorship in pediatric point-of-care ultrasound in the information age of medicine. We are a growing community of physicians committed to spreading the clinical application of point-of-care ultrasound to pediatric emergency departments around the world.
